Why Choose Us?
There is no denying the fact that the USA, as a country, has not yet managed to eliminate the issue of homelessness for veterans. Yes, communities around the country are racing to finish it by every means possible, but they are yet to reach the goal. So how are we different from others regarding housing facilities for homeless veterans?

We offer results! Habitat 4 Veterans is a national 501 (c) (3) non-profit whose mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive and end veteran homelessness forever. Our organization is transparent in all financial matters, and we publish the results of the homes we provide and updates on the veterans and their families within privacy guidelines.

Offering Ease of Access to Housing for Homeless Veterans

We offer increased access to affordable housing. The root cause of veteran homelessness is the absence of enough housing facilities for the veterans. We are here to eliminate homelessness for veterans. We encourage the property owners and landlords to house the veterans suffering from homelessness, whether they are eligible for government-sponsored assistance services.

Our objective is to locate and identify every veteran needing assistance and track the progress, from initial engagement to housing placement, in real time. Through data-sharing agreements, assessment processes and communication between the local VA Medical Center, the Continuous Care, we create a list of veterans who are going through homelessness. Tracking personal-level data helps us to monitor the progress better.

Connecting Homeless Veterans with Property Donors
We are a platform that connects homeless veterans with property donors who are also ready to bear the move-in essentials that the veterans need. These are offered to the veterans through sponsorships by compassionate donors from the community around them. In addition, the veterans exiting homelessness often require essential items like household items, medicines, mattresses, and other costly supplies to ensure that the new abode feels like home without them worrying.

The veterans who have shifted to a permanent home might be just one security or rental deposit away from being able to move in. So, we work with the interested community of partners that have programs to raise funds to help veterans secure their first and last month’s rent and security deposits. In this way, they can get relief from homelessness quickly.
